Ballots in the Mail for Special Election

Ballots for the February 14, 2017 Special Election, went into the mail Thursday, January 26, 2017.

If you have not received your ballot by Wednesday, February 1st, please contact the Auditors Office at 509 422-7240. 

The following districts have issues on the ballot.

  • Tonasket School District No. 404
  • Okanogan School District No. 105
  • Bridgeport School District No. 75
  • Fire District No. 6
  • Town of Winthrop

 Remember your ballots must be signed.

 The Auditors Office, 149 3rd Ave N, Okanogan, is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and on Election Day only from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM for the following services.

  • Drop off voted ballots
  • Obtain replacement ballots
  • Disability Access Voting Units

Drop boxes will be open January 27 – February 14, 2017.  Drop boxes will be open until 8:00 PM on February 14, 2017.

Drop box locations for the February 14, 2017 Special Election:

Tonasket – Tonasket City Hall/Library Complex, 209 S Whitcomb Ave, Tonasket

Omak – Next to Police Station, 8 N Ash, Omak

Twisp – 118 S Glover St, City Hall, Twisp

If you mail your ballot, sufficient first class postage (.49) must be attached and it must be postmarked by the day of the election, February 14, 2017.  Check with your local post office for cut off times.

If you are not currently registered in the State of Washington, you can appear in person in the Auditors Office until February 6th and registered to vote and be able to vote in the February 14, 2017 Special Election.
