Body of Missing Tonasket Man Found East of Oroville

On December 2, 2020 at about 12:47pm Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing person. Deputies were advised Reinaldo A. Beltran “Alex” (28 years old from Tonasket, WA) had not been heard from since November 24, 2020. He was last seen at a residence in the Oroville area. Okanogan County Deputies contacted the residence Beltran was reported to have been and several other locations he was known to frequent. They did not locate him.

On December 4, 2020 at about 1:53pm Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deceased male located in a swampy area east side of Oroville, WA. Okanogan County Sheriff’s office deputies and detectives worked with the Okanogan County Coroner’s office to recover him from the swampy area. He was identified as Beltran.

The cause of his death is under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Okanogan County Sheriff’s Detectives.
