Bridgeport Man Injured in Rollover Accident North of Orondo

A 20-year-old Bridgeport man ended up in the hospital, following a one-vehicle accident on Highway 97 north of Orondo, Saturday morning.

According to the Washington State Patrol Report, Eduardo Gomez-Camacho was northbound on Hwy 97 about 11 miles north of Orondo, when he lost control of his 1999 Honda Accord, left the roadway, struck a dirt embankment and rolled the vehicle.

Gomez-Camacho, who was wearing his seatbelt, was transported to the Chelan hospital with facial lacerations.

The accident occurred around 3:05 A.M. The State Patrol says DUI charges are pending.
