Canadian woman injured in motorcycle accident

A Canadian woman was injured in motorcycle accident Friday evening, on Highway 97 about two miles south of the Canadian border.

According to the Washington State Patrol report, 35-year-old Jennifer M. Paterson, of Calgary, Alberta, was northbound and attempted to switch fuel tanks when her bike went onto the northbound shoulder.

Paterson, who suffered a broken collarbone, was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The motorcycle received $200 worth of damage.
