Children Injured in One Vehicle Accident Near Twisp

Two children were injured Saturday, when the vehicle they were riding in left the roadway and struck a boulder east of Twisp.

According to the Washington State Patrol, 11-year-old Frank Baga and 7-year-old Nathan Baga, both of Okanogan were transported to Mid Valley Hospital in Omak.

The State Patrol Reports that 37-year-old Maria Aispuro, of Okanogan, was driving her 2004 Dodge Durango westbound on Highway 20 about 8 miles east of Twisp when she lost control, left the road and struck a boulder.

According to the report, Aispuro and another passenger, 22-year-old Marisol Ramos, of Okanogan, were not injured, but were transported to Mid Valley Hospital.

Frank Baga, who the State Patrol said was not wearing his seatbelt, suffered head lacerations and Nathan Baga, received a sore neck.

Everyone else in the vehicle was buckled up, according to the report.
