Construction Project on Old 97 Starts Next Week

Granite Construction will begin a project on Old Highway 97 from Driskell Rd to Verestar Rd for Okanogan County Public Works on Monday, May 3.

The project will include pulverizing the existing pavement, shoulder widening, new pavement, and safety improvements. The project is currently scheduled to be complete by the end of June.

The public is asked to please be patient with traffic impacts as Public Works upgrades this road for you, and be conscientious of the safety of the construction personnel.

This project is 100% funded with federal and state grants.
