Enloe Dam Safety Notice From PUD

Okanogan PUD is providing this additional update regarding Enloe Dam.

Okanogan PUD is committed to safety, and follows strict dam safety regulations set forth by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The PUD continues to perform additional inspections and increase monitoring of Enloe Dam.

Onsite inspections are occurring multiple times a week by the chief dam safety engineer, dam safety coordinator, and additional PUD staff. These inspections are occurring as necessary, both during the day and at night, and will continue as flows are projected to increase in the coming days.

The dam continues to pass flows as it has done historically and there have been no visual indications of issues.

Okanogan PUD is in frequent contact with Okanogan County Emergency Services, Okanogan County Sheriff’s Department, Okanogan County, and other departments.
