Get Pressure Gauges Checked

It’s getting to be that time of year again!  Canning, drying and freezing food season is almost upon us.  Let’s get prepared!

Drop by your local WSU Okanogan Extension Office for up-to-date researched recipes.  We have a Food Safety and Preservation Consultant on site to answer your questions.

Bring in your pressure canner gauge to get it checked for accuracy for free Monday through Thursday.

There will also be gauge testing in Twisp on July 1 at the Twisp Farmer’s Market.  Lynda Hotchkiss, Extension Food Safety and Preservation consultant will be on site with the Master Gardeners.  Hope to see you there.
