Man Injured in Shooting in Omak

Omak Police were called to a home on North Juniper Street early Monday morning for the report of an assault in progress. Two men were fighting, and two gunshots had been heard.  

Omak Police Chief Jeff Koplin said Dallas D. Wilson, 26 of Omak, and Nathaniel L. Harris, 40 of Omak had been fighting over a woman. Koplin said during the altercation Wilson had possession of a 9 mm handgun and 2 shots were fired.  One of the shots struck Harris in the lower left abdomen.  Harris was transported to Mid-Valley Hospital by Lifeline Ambulance to be treated for his injuries.  Harris is believed to be in stable condition at this time. 

Wilson was arrested for Assault in the First Degree and he was booked into Okanogan County Jail.
