Omak Library Host Open House

The Omak Public Library is hosting an open house for the public to see the new openness and energy efficient results of the recent remodel. The open house is scheduled for Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A ribbon cutting ceremony will begin the open house at 3:00 pm.

"Passports" to good reading will be issued; visitors will be able to go to various stations throughout the library to talk with librarians and assistants about many of the services that the library offers and to get their passports stamped. Once the passport is stamped at each station it can be entered into a drawing for a "Book Lover's Basket of Goodies." The drawing will be held at 6:30 pm.

Some representatives from Home Depot will be acknowledged for the generous donation of the new carpet. Cramer's Home Furnishings also donated a sofa for the librarians' break room.


Refreshments will be available in the Pioneer Room.
