Omak Police Seek Help in Finding Missing Spokane Woman

The Omak Police Department is seeking your help in locating a missing Spokane woman who visited friends in Omak in late December.

According to the news release from the Omak PD, 66-year-old Dianne Kristie traveled to Omak on Dec. 26 to visit friends, and on Dec. 30 left their home, saying she was going to to check out the Omak area.

Kristie told the friends she would return that evening, but never came back. They reported her missing the next morning.
The police report that on Wednesday, Kristie's 2008 Pontiac was located near the Okanogan River in downtown Omak.
According to police, a witness said it had been there for at least five days.

Kristie reportedly left personal items at both her friend's house and in her abandoned vehicle. Police report that a large quantity of medication was found in her possessions.

Dianne Kristie is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds. She has blonde hair, green eyes and a light complexion. She is 66-year-old, but looks younger. She was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, pink scarf and blue jeans.
