BACKGROUND Last May, State Parks planners began meeting with the public and stakeholders to develop long-term recreation and land-use plans for Alta Lake and Bridgeport state parks. In October, agency staff held another meeting to introduce several planning alternatives for the public to review and provide feedback. The Jan. 29 meeting brings the agency closer to developing final recommendations, which staff will present at a future meeting of the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission.

Please note: Documents specific to the Jan. 29 meeting, including the draft recommendations, will be posted by the week of the meeting here. For additional questions, contact Melinda Posner, project lead, at (360) 902-8671.
