Sunday morning at approximately 7:00 AM, an Okanogan County plow truck backed off of Salmon Creek Road at the intersection with Spring Coulee Road, ending up on its side with the rear of the truck partially in Salmon Creek, according to Okanogan County Emergency Management.
The driver was uninjured.
Crews from Okanogan County Fire District #3,, Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office, Okanogan County Emergency Management, Okanogan County Public Works and Washington State Department of Ecology responded.
Randy’s Towing used two large tow trucks to remove the plow truck from the creek.
Emergency Management says Ecology and Public Works are working together to address the small amount of diesel that went into Salmon Creek.
