The Washington State Department of Transportation is working on a plan to reduce the number of collisions between vehicles and wildlife.
The department is teaming up with Washington State University researchers to study deer crossing patterns and deer-vehicle collisions on SR 20 in the Methow Valley.
For the first phase of the study, WDOT is asking people who live and drive in the area to take a 5 minute survey.
The department is focusing specifically on the section of highway between Twisp and Early Winters Campground.
You can take the survey online here.
