Two Escape Okanogan County Jail

On Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at about 0615hrs the Okanogan County Jail reported an escape from the facility.  Okanogan County Sheriff’s Deputies, Detectives, and Corrections Deputies are working on the investigation to locate the two escapees and identify who may have assisted with the escape. They may be traveling together or possibly have split up. They were last known to be wearing blue inmate clothing with white long underwear, but may have changed clothing.

The two escaped inmates are:

Wittman, Kristofer L 28 years old, 5’8” 170lbs, blue eyes, blond hair Bellingham, WA.  He was in custody for multiple charges; Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Attempt to Elude, Obstructing, Reckless Driving, Driving While Suspended 2nd degree, Attempted Escape 2nd Degree, and Malicious Mischief 2nd Degree.  Additional charges of Escape in the 2nd Degree and Malicious Mischief 1st degree will be sought.

White, Christian M 53 years old, Rock Island, WA. He was in custody for multiple charges; Departement of Corrections Warrant, Attempt to Elude, Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine, Hit and Run, Malicious Mischief 3rd Degree, Assault 4th Degree.  Additional charges of Escape in the 2nd Degree and Malicious Mischief 1st degree will be sought.

I ask the public if they see either of them contact Law Enforcement immediately and do not attempt to apprehend them.  If in Okanogan County notify Okanogan County Communications (509)422-7232.
