...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS ACROSS CENTRAL

Okanogan Valley- Including the following locations Omak, Okanogan, Brewster,Bridgeport, Oroville, Nespelem, and Disautel Pass

644 AM PST Sat Feb 9 2019

 

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM PST THIS

EVENING...

 

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Localized wind gusts as high as 50 mph in the

  Okanogan Valley.

 

* WHERE...Omak, Okanogan, Brewster, Bridgeport, Oroville,  Nespelem, and Disautel Pass.

 

* WHEN...Until 7 PM PST this evening.

 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Blowing and drifting snow will cause dangerous conditions today. Bitterly cold wind chills will have

  the potential to cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes.

 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow and blowing snow means severe winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous or

impossible. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
