Sen. Brian Dansel Appointed Vice Chair of Key Senate Committees

On Tuesday evening the Majority Coalition Caucus announced the appointment of Sen. Brian Dansel, R-Republic, as Vice Chair of both the Agriculture, Water & Rural Economic Development and Natural Resources & Parks Committees. This marks a promotion for Dansel in only his second year in the Senate.

“It is very important to me to give our community a seat at the table in the decisions that affect our way of life,” stated Dansel. “My position as vice chair on both these committees puts me in position to make our rural communities heard and provide a balanced approach to solving problems.”

In addition to his vice chair roles, Dansel will be on the Government Operations and Accountability & Reform Committees. Dansel previously served on the Natural Resources & Parks Committee as well as the Government Operations and Transportation Committees.

Dansel has extensive experience in rural and agricultural issues from his work as a Ferry County Commissioner.
